Amadou Diallo was an immigrant in the United States from Guinea. On the night of February 4 th 1999, he was shot at by four policemen in plain clothes in NewYork. The officers were Sean Carroll, Richard Murphy, Edward McMellon and Kenneth Boss. The police officers mistook Diallo to be a rape suspect from a year before. They emptied forty one rounds which nineteen hit him outside his apartment at 1157 Wheeler Avenue in the Soundview section of The Bronx. They were later charged with second degree murder but were acquitted at a court in Albany Newyork. Amadou was unarmed.
